On May 31st, 2008, the long-term Rector of St. Luke’s, Canon R.L. Brownlie, retired from full-time parish ministry. Canon Tony Harwood-Jones was appointed to lead the congregation through a two-year period of transition. “Transition” involves setting priorities for the years ahead, then locating, interviewing, and selecting a suitable person to become the next Rector (officially called an “Incumbent”).
From this page, using the list below, you can access all information about the transition as it progresses.

At a meeting attended by over 80 active members of the parish, the Interim Rector outlined in some detail the steps that will be taken in the process of getting a new Rector. He also put an important administrative question to the members present. Then a questionnaire was circulated, for completion at the meeting.
